You can now purchase products that Dr. Morris specifically recommends to help you take good care of your pet.  Dr. Morris recommends specific types of harnesses for walks and for safe car rides, supplements for your elder dog or cat with arthritis, vitamins for certain breeds (German Shepherds) and for dogs with certain conditions (demodecosis), chews to help your cat’s and dog’s teeth clean, flea combs, sheddin’ blades, nail trimmers (with Quik stop), and cat laxatives.

Our goal at Rancho Del Oro Veterinary Hospital is for our clients to enjoy their precious furry family members for as long as possible.  Preventive care is critical to achieve that goal.

Are you finding adult fleas on your cat or dog??   Want to get rid of them IMMEDIATELY??  Capstar is a relatively safe pill that will kill adult fleas within 1/2 hour of contact.  Capstar does only last 24 hours so you should make sure your pet hangs out in different parts of his/her home environment to kill adult fleas that may be hiding throughout your home. 

We literally have had no known medication reactions since we have been dispensing this product. 

Due to the 2 week life cycle of the flea, we have been recommending a dosage of Capstar to each pet in the home on Day 1, Day 2, Day 7 and Day 14.  This has worked to help wipe out the major adult flea population in your home. 

You must use this product in conjunction with another topical agent, such as Advantage or Frontline Plus in order to have longer term control.
