A new product….ProMeris!!!

ProMeris is now available at Rancho Del Oro Veterinary Hospital.  It’s a new flea and tick topical prevention medication.  It replaces Frontline and Advantage for most size dogs. For the last few years, have you noticed your pet still getting fleas even though you are religious about applying your products??? You are not the only one. 

To kill these resistant fleas, a new product has been released and it works!!  It is also less expensive than Frontline. Yeah!! What a good combination.  It has a nice eucalyptus smell which lasts about 24 hours.  When the smell wears out, you know it’s safe to give your dog a nice big hug again.  The product lasts a month but it is also being used quite successfully to address certain mite infestations at a more frequent schedule.

We are keeping this product on hand so just give us a call or come by to save a box of 3 doses for your pet.   

For the time being, we are recommending  that cats and small, indoor dogs stay on Advantage.
