At Rancho Del Oro, we believe that leaving your pet when you travel should not be a stressful time for either of you. Our Oceanside kennel facility provides your pet with a friendly environment which will give you peace of mind and provide your pet with a safe and fun experience while you are away. Our Oceanside location is staffed by devoted and skilled animal lovers who are committed to pampering our guests. The veterinary crew is on site during business hours or is a phone call away for your patient’s medical needs. Dog Boarding
Rancho Del Oro is an all-inclusive kennel for Oceanside that provides everything your pet will need during their stay with us. We have spacious indoor suites with plush bedding, so please do not bring beds, blankets or toys. We proudly serve the best quality pet food; however, guests may bring their own food if they choose. Biscuits, bathing services and grooming services are available at an additional charge.

Cat Boarding
Our feline friends prefer a slightly quieter environment than their canine counterparts, so we’ve dedicated a section of our boarding area entirely to them. Our kitty condos, provide everything your feline friend would need during their stay. We include indoor suites with plush bedding to provide the utmost in cat comfort. We serve the highest quality cat food on a scheduled program, however, guests may also bring their own food with them if they choose.
Boarding Requirements
In order to keep your pet happy and healthy, we require vaccinations to prevent the spread of common canine and feline diseases. Proof of vaccination is required and kept on file at our facility.
Dogs: The following vaccinations are required prior to boarding your dog:
- Rabies – required once every three years
- DHLPP – required once every 1-3 years depending on environmental exposure
- Bordetella – required once every 6 months
- Blood titers are accepted in lieu of vaccinations
Cats: The following vaccinations are required prior to boarding your cat:
- Rabies – required once every three years
- FCRVP – required once every 1-3 years
- exceptions are made based on indoor/outdoor status and age
